Dementia is becoming increasingly frequent among older adults, and at Merafield View we understand the importance of providing compassionate, specialist support for those living with the condition. We are fully equipped to care for residents with mild dementia, including individuals who develop symptoms after joining our home.
Every resident receives a thorough, personalised assessment so we can tailor our care to their unique needs, preferences, and routines. Our focus is always on promoting independence, dignity, and a sense of normality in daily life.
All members of our care team receive dedicated training in dementia and elderly mental health, ensuring they understand the additional challenges the condition can bring and how to respond with patience, skill, and empathy.
